delicious food roast beef
I had a delicious meal after a walk. the food tasted fabulous, so well presented. my friend enjoyed the roast beef dinner. It was cooked perfectly.

excellent experience near monsal trail
easy access helpful staff large shower
the location allowed easy access to the monsal trail. the staff were very helpful and friendly, assisting with parking information upon early arrival (maria specifically was a great help). the room (number 5) was a good size and clean. i enjoyed the large walk-in shower in the bathroom.
the hotel looked to need some general refurbishment work in the bar and dining areas.

the breakfast was excellent with a great choice of options (i especially liked the cooked breakfast). the stables bar also provided tasty food. the monsal pie was particularly delicious.

a romantic getaway with good touches
fine views friendly staff
The room was immaculate with views that took our breath away. the food was delicious, and every member of staff showed such warmth and friendliness. even our dog received a little treat at breakfast. It was so sweet!!!

our standard double room had everything we needed, it had very clean surfaces. the room had a lovely view and plenty of space to unwind after a day of exploring the peak district, a treat.

the stables bar provided a wonderful spot to unwind, especially if weather permits sitting outside. the uplift in paint, decor, and seating in the pub area, along with the new table service, created an inviting atmosphere.

Fantastic stay with Really good views
delicious options superb location best view comfortable room
The breakfast menu offered several delicious options. I made the most of it! The location is superb. I knew that since i had stayed before. My room gave me the best available view over the valley. The room was spacious and comfortable.
The barman served beer from the end of the barrel, and it was cloudy and not great. He did change the barrel, though, SOMEWHAT helpful.

Great food is available, and the menu is interesting, since it is under new management now. There is something for everyone, so you are bound to find something you'd enjoy. The staff were all cute.

The location is GREAT for walks after work. I definitely enjoyed it. The views are lovely from pretty much everywhere on the hotel. You can easily access many different walking trails.

All staff members were helpful and friendly . They were happy for me to take my drinks outside to watch the sunset. This created a great experience for me.
