Misty Harbor Resort does not have onsite restaurants, however, restaurants are within walking distance. These include Billy's Chowder House, Mike's Clam Shack, Horizons, Congdon's Donuts, R & R Chocolate, and Seacoast Pizza, Brew Pubs Batson River & Battery Steele. A number of restaurants participate in the dining package program including Clay Hill Farm, and Jonathan's. Discriminating diners have an abundant selection of fine restaurants to satisfy nearly every taste - including lobster.

Misty Harbor Resort is in Wells Beach, Maine, adjacent to the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge. It is 50 km from Pease International Tradeport. The resort is a short drive from Kennebunkport. Nearby attractions include Abacus (6.5 km), Wonder Mountain Fun Park (3 km), Renys (0.5 km), Sea Bell Gallery (6.5 km), Storer Garrison State Historic Site (0.5 km), Laudholm Beach (4.5 km) and Drakes Island Beach (3.5 km). Ogunquit beaches are close by, Footbridge Beach can be reached by a footbridge from Ocean Street. Drakes Island Road leads to Wells Beach, north of Route 1.
