The room was spacious. It had lovely decor and the bathroom was super clean. Staff were very cute from the start. Karen was friendly adding a personal touch.
The restaurant felt very poor. It offered little more than standard pub fare! The bar closed early. I wasn't told about this early closing.

the hotel is on very well-kept grounds. the hotel manager and staff were all very pleasant. the interior had a country estate vibe. great lounge areas allowed relaxing moments.
the bar closed early and i wasn't told. this was a small but noticeable inconvenience.

The breakfast was acceptable.
The restaurant did not match the grandeur of the building (i was expecting more). Staff were not very attentive. It took a long time for food to arrive and i was overcharged for drinks i did not have. It is a pity because the house and location have potential.
