Located in Guarda, the hotel is near the ruins of Steinsberg Castle and the St Lucius Chapel in Ardez. The castle, built in 1040, overlooks the lower Engadin. Guarda is near the Swiss National Park. The Albula and Bernina lines connect to the north and south of Europe. Local landmarks include Kirche San Guerg (3 km), Piz Cotschen (4.5 km), and the Schellen-Ursli-Museum (0.3 km).
