Rooms Overview

Meadows Inn has themed rooms reflecting New Bern's cultures and travel memories. The Croatan Suite and Neuse River room, located on the first floor, include a fireplace and a private bathroom. The Bern Bear Suite is located on the third floor and features a private bathroom. The Governor's Suite has a private bathroom with double sinks. The Palace Suite and Spaight Suite feature private bathrooms. The Stanly Suite includes a work desk and a private bathroom. Rooms provide either city or river views. All rooms include a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Each room also includes ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, a terrace, a dining table, a patio, garden furniture, free toiletries, an AM/FM alarm clock, a flat-screen TV, carpeted floor, and parquet floor.

Dining at Meadows Inn

Breakfast is served at a predetermined time, usually arranged at check-in. A plated homemade hot entrée, fresh fruit, home-baked pastry, and orange juice are served in the Breakfast Room. Onsite restaurants are available.

Tryon Palace candlelight tours on the second and third Saturday evenings in December conclude with fireworks over the Trent River.
