Edgefield's Hotel Rooms
McMenamins Edgefield has over 100 guestrooms and hostel accommodations. Rooms include vintage furnishings, original artwork, and cotton bathrobes. Guests may choose from rooms with en suite bathrooms or common, private bathrooms. Rooms offer fans and windows for fresh air. Air conditioning is available in the Black Rabbit, Power Station, and other areas. Hostel rooms provide bunk beds and individual lockers. There are no televisions or telephones in the rooms, but complimentary WiFi is available near the Black Rabbit Restaurant and in the Library.
Dining at Edgefield
A number of dining options can be enjoyed at the resort, ranging from bar foods to fine dining restaurants. Specialties of the house include the rich, amber-hued Hogshead Whiskey. Locally-roasted Ecuadorian cacao nibs impart a rich cocoa butter and pure chocolate flavor. Locally roasted cacao nibs, herbs and Mexican red peppers create a spicier version of the traditional Chocolate bitters. Inspired by the cherry trees that surround the granary at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse, the hotel serves red sour cherry, dark sweet cherry and fresh herbs.
Leisure and Activities
Edgefield's 74 acres include a distillery, brewery, winery, numerous small bars, a spa, a soaking pool, a golf course, a movie theater, event spaces, and live music. Guests can access the soaking pool during open hours. Ruby's Spa offers massages and facials by appointment. The two par-3 Pub Courses offer panoramic views of the Columbia River. A family-friendly one-mile walk to an elliptical bird blind on the quiet, reflective Sandy River Delta. A team of artists collaborated to create a gallery with original paintings and historical photographs.
Location and Transportation
McMenamins Edgefield sits at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area. The hotel is 20 km from Portland International. The Columbia Gorge Premium Outlets are a mile away. Vista House at Crown Point is called the most photographed icon of the Columbia Gorge. The hotel offers the Sasquatch Shuttle to Multnomah Falls and other spots in the Columbia River Gorge. Guests can travel the Mount Hood Scenic Byway.
