charming kagetsu stay
great location relaxing onsen fresh juices
I enjoyed the hotel's location a short distance from the castle. It was very convenient. the onsen offered a relaxing experience after a day of exploring. i appreciated the breakfast. It featured fresh juices and local delicacies. i loved the retro vibe in the cafe. vinyl records played.
The windows lacked screens. Mosquitos were a minor issue.

good stay!
shuttle bus beauty products
i found the onsen experience wonderful it was very clean and spacious with kose beauty products provided. the hotel provides a shuttle bus service back to the train station this was very convenient for my departure. i got a room upgrade and it was so fabulous
my room seemed a little dated i noticed the carpeting could use some updating and the tv had limited channels. also the breakfast selection was somewhat limited specifically the pastry options.

the hotel offered free bicycles and umbrellas to borrow this made exploring the area very easy and convenient. some reception staff were very helpful assisting with restaurant reservations upon arrival they had a very useful restaurant guide.

the room i stayed in had a good size it was spacious by japanese standards and included a gorgeous view. the bathroom was clean the bath and the amenities were complete with strong water pressure it was very comfortable

local wine talented chef elegant waiting area
I adored the local Red wine. It complemented my dinner perfectly. The degustation menu was a feast. Compliments to the talented chef. The lobby had an elegant waiting area. It added a special touch.

cold room unusual bathroom
The allocated room was quite disappointing. it was situated in the annex, and the temperature was uncomfortably cold. the bathroom had an unusual design. It functioned as a wet room, but the bath drained into the area next to the toilet. this design meant i risked getting my feet wet each time i used the toilet. the room configuration needs reconsideration.

comfortable futon japanese delicacies discount coupon
The futon beds in the Japanese-Style Standard Room Main building Non-Smoking were surprisingly comfortable! The breakfast buffet offered BOTH western and Japanese delicacies. I also used a discount coupon in the hotel shop.
The hotel is a fifteen minute walk from the station, and I had luggage.
