Marboka Hotel & Suites offers Mexican-style rooms, ranging from studios for up to four guests with ocean views to a three-room Presidential Suite featuring a jacuzzi, a private pool, and beach access. All rooms include a balcony facing the sea and a small kitchenette. Some rooms feature a seating area. Rooms come with either two double beds or a king-size bed. All have French doors opening onto balconies overlooking the bay and feature classic Mexican decor. Certain suites have two bedrooms, two bathrooms with walk-in showers, a well-fitted kitchen, and a terrace. The Sunset Studio has a king bed and two beach lounge chairs on an extended balcony. The Panoramic Suite, located at the top of the hotel, has a fully equipped kitchen and a shared laundry room. Loft 604 includes ironing facilities, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, a sitting area, a terrace, a dining table, and a patio with garden furniture. Each room has a small kitchenette including a small stove, mini-fridge, and basic crockery and cutlery.
Dining Choices
The hotel has great choices of food places at the foot of the hotel. A large, open-air restaurant next door on the street/lobby level, shared with a neighboring hotel, offers good, reasonably priced food and was once the hangout of choice for the gang shooting "Night of the Iguana". A restaurant on the beach offers a Sunday buffet and provides room service at an additional cost.
Leisure Amenities
Hotel Playa Conchas Chinas features a pool and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Massage treatments are available. The Sunset Studio features an extended balcony with two beach lounge chairs. The Presidential Suite has a private pool and two jacuzzis. The Deluxe Studio has a Mexican-style jacuzzi. The Deluxe Panoramic Studio features a jacuzzi.
