Apartments include ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, a dining table, and a patio with garden furniture. Amenities provided include free toiletries, a washing machine, a dryer, cookware/kitchen utensils, an electric kettle, a flat-screen TV, and carpeted floors. The fireplace is a top feature of the apartments. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, kitchenware, an oven, and a microwave. Some apartments offer a balcony with pool views and remote access to a parking garage with laundry facilities. Apartments feature a gas fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and open-plan living areas.

Mantra Lake Tekapo is a two and a half-hour scenic drive from Christchurch and Queenstown. Nearby landmarks include Silver River Stargazing (2 km), Mt John Summit Circuit Track (2.5 km), Lupin Field (2.5 km), Lake Tekapo Regional Park (1.5 km), Mount John University Observatory (3 km), Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve (1.5 km), The Church of the Good Shepherd (1.5 km), Earth & Sky (1.5 km), Lake Tekapo (1.5 km), and Tekapo Star Gazing (1.5 km). Lake Tekapo offers a multitude of places to visit, things to do, and activities. The Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve, with its almost light-pollution-free skies, is one of the best and largest stargazing sites on Earth. Lake Tekapo's unique turquoise color is the result of finely ground glacial rock melting into the snow-fed waters. The hot tub overlooks the snow-capped mountains of the Southern Alps.
