The Majlis features 3 restaurants serving International, Italian, Indian, Japanese, and Swahili dishes. The Restaurant offers an à-la-carte menu with cold and warm starters, soups, pastas, fish, meat, and vegetarian options. In-house guests can select from the à-la-carte menu, which includes fresh fruits, home-baked breads and pastries, cereals, eggs, and a full English breakfast. There is also a gourmet restaurant and 4 bars. The Majlis bar and lounge areas are suitable for meeting friends for a cocktail or enjoying light snacks. The bars have a design with views.
Leisure Activities
The Majlis has a wellness centre and two pools. Two gyms are available: one near the pool bar with fitness machines and one in the garden called 'the Jungle gym.' Water activities include two wooden canoes, a single and a double fiberglass kayak, deep sea fishing, day trips by dhow or by speed boat, kayaking, kitesurfing, paddle surfing, waterskiing, and windsurfing. Daily excursions are organized on motor boats, with picnic lunches on isolated beaches. Half-day trips are available to Manda Toto. Other activities include bird and animal watching, and visits to Lake Kenyatta. Guests can relax and rejuvenate during their stay in the Lamu archipelago, Kenya.

Located in the Ras Kitau bay, in front of the Shela Village, The Majlis Resort is a 15-minute cruise from Manda Island. Nearby landmarks include Lamu Fort (4 km), Manda Island (4 km), The Fort of Shela (1 km), Lamu Old Town (4 km), Takwa ruins (4 km), Masjid Riyadha (4 km), and National Museums of Kenya-Lamu Museum (4 km).
