Wonderful Stay Near the River

historic feel helpful staff friendly server

I appreciated the location just outside the busiest areas. The building had a lovely historic feel with good facilities. The front desk staff were helpful and cute throughout my stay (they gave good directions!). The breakfast server was also very friendly.

The elevator was noisy. It disturbed my sleep. I mentioned it upon departure, but the reception did not acknowledge my comment.

My room had a painted ceiling, offering a unique view. The room was clean and atmospheric. Free soft drinks were available. The bathroom design featured retro elements.

The breakfast room is located on the second floor. It featured original frescoes on the ceiling and walls. It used to be buffet style. it is now order based at 25 euros.

noisy elevator non existent soundproofing

The location was acceptable, with views of the river (I guess).

The soundproofing was non existent. I could hear conversations as if they were in my own room (with some noisy guests and shrieking children!). The elevator was also quite noisy. It was right outside the room.
