Rooms at Palmer Gulch
Mount Rushmore Lodge provides rooms, including royal and presidential suites. A two-bedroom suite includes a queen bed, a king bed, and a queen sofa sleeper. Suites have mini-fridges, microwaves, tables, and chairs. Rollaway beds and cribs are available. King Premier rooms offer mountain views from a balcony or patio. Standard rooms feature either two queen beds or one king bed. Cabins range from the Grand Executive Lodge, which sleeps 12, to one-bedroom cabins. Many cabins include kitchens or kitchenettes and screened porches. RV and tent sites are also available.
Dining at Palmer Gulch
The Peak Grill & Tap Room, near the Main Store and Lodge entrance, serves lunch and dinner with Angus burgers, chicken, steaks, seafood, and ribs. The Tap Room has local craft brews and a full bar. Chuck Wagon Dinner Show guests ride a horse-drawn covered wagon to a remote mountain meadow for Dakota-grown beef steaks cooked over an aspen-wood campfire. Wagon Master's Breakfast Ride includes an early morning cookout. The Prospector's Tent offers all-you-can-eat pancakes. Grapes & Grinds offers lattes, espressos, and local wines. Turtle Town features fried chicken, buffalo wings, pizzas, and ice cream.
Leisure and Entertainment
The resort includes a Fun Zone with two pools, two heated spas, and a waterslide. Activities include a climbing wall, mini golf at the Kowboy Kountry Klub, and gold panning at the Palmer Gulch Mining Co. There is Kamp K9, a dog park. Guests can enjoy live music at Grapes & Grinds or outdoor performances. There are nightly movies and activities like glow stick dance parties, karaoke, and tie-dye art. Bike and UTV rentals are available.

Executive Lodges and 3 & 4-bedroom mountain cabins do not allow pets. Other room types may have had pets previously, but they are not guaranteed to be pet-free.
