Lively Beach provides private beach access via a boardwalk, leading to surfing, kite boarding, and fishing spots. A network of walking and biking trails and a restored six-acre bird estuary are available. Guests can relax at the Beach Club, which includes BBQ grills and shaded dining areas. The property is near North Packery Channel Jetty (1 km), Malaquite Beach (2 km), and Padre Island National Seashore (2 km). Lively Beach is near one of the areas best surf breaks just a short distance towards the jetty.

Lively Beach features a pool with an island and submerged seats. There are rooftop decks at Surfrider and Mavericks, which offer 360-degree views. Exterior lighting highlights the resort's architecture. A six acre bird estuary was restored during the development process.
