Lighthouse Inn, Florence

Lighthouse Inn offers multiple room types. Family Suites feature two bedrooms with two queen beds and one twin bed, connected by a bathroom with a shower/tub. These suites include a French door balcony. The King Family Suite has two king beds, a sofa with a pull-out bed, a dining table, a recliner, a desk, and a TV/DVD/VCR combo. It also includes an over-sized balcony with Siuslaw River views and a private stairway with parking. A playroom is available. Queen Rooms have a ground-floor location with a balcony overlooking the parking lot and garden. King + Twin rooms, located upstairs, include a daybed that converts to a twin bed. Two Queens rooms, located on the ground floor, have interior and exterior entrances and parking for a truck with a trailer. Design King rooms, located on the backside of the property, include a sitting area and a coffee table; some have a sofa with a pull-out bed and private entrance parking. Standard King rooms are located on the ground floor and upstairs, with designed theme options. Select rooms include a desk, microwave, small refrigerator, and large table. All rooms provide free toiletries, a wardrobe, carpeted or parquet floors, and a flat-screen TV. Some units feature a seating area.

The Lighthouse Inn's restaurant provides a free, fresh-cooked breakfast from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, including waffles and homemade biscuits and gravy with ground barley grains. Guests can have a meal at Hukilau, which serves the guests of Lighthouse Inn.

Guests of Lighthouse Inn can use free WiFi in the lobby. The inn is near area activities at Ocean Dunes Golf Links. Nearby outdoor activities include hiking the Siltcoos Lake Trail, a family-friendly trail through coastal forest, and exploring Oregon Dunes Day Use, 13 miles south of the inn, which offers dune and beach trails. Carl Washburne State Park, 10 miles north, features coastal forest trails and the Hobbit Trail. Additional activities include visiting 45, which provides painting instruction and wine or beer (reservations required at 541-337-1994), and attending events at the Florence Event Center (2 km away). Guests can also visit Mike Morrow's oil paintings and Herr & Hofmann's art. Blackberries can be found on Kingwood Street, on both sides of the highway past the Siuslaw Bridge, and on Hwy 126 towards Mapleton.
