Acceptable stay with some drawbacks
small window thin counterpane
The location was very central (near to both stations and the port).
My room had only one small window in the lobby for natural light. It was late February and there was only a sheet plus a very thin counterpane (like a second sheet) and a silly little strip of fake velvet across the foot of the bed. I was not warm enough for two nights, until i found a fleecy cover in a container at the top of the wardrobe.

I loved the welcome bottle of sparkling wine. It was a nice touch. The rooftop terrace provided amazing views. The central location allowed easy access to nearby attractions.

excellent location friendly staff huge towels
I found the location to be excellent. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing assistance with directions and local recommendations. the building possessed an elegant charm and the room felt cozy with ample pillows. I also used provided huge towels.
the air conditioning system was not functioning correctly upon my arrival. i notified reception and they promptly moved us to a room where it did work.

the hotel's location was excellent. i found the proximity to the historical sites very convenient. the nearby garage provided helpful parking for my vehicle.
street noise was bothersome throughout the night. it was difficult to sleep due to the constant sounds coming from outside.
