Rooms and amenities

Hotel Lasaretti offers rooms with a television, ironing board, iron, and electric kettle. Options include Classic Single rooms with garden or Oulujoki River views, and select rooms are named after artists Moosa Myllykangas or Jaakko Heikkilä. Classic Twin rooms are also available. The Family Room (40 m²) has views of the garden and Oulujoki River, with two bedrooms and a living room that includes a sofa bed for one adult or two children. Superior rooms feature views of the Oulujoki River, with select rooms named after artists Jaakko Mattila, Hannu Väisänen, or Veikko Törmänen. Bathrooms in Superior rooms have a shower with rainwater. The room rate includes breakfast, access to the fitness room and sauna, and Wi-Fi.

Breakfast & Local Cuisine

Breakfast is served in the restaurant from Monday to Friday 6:30 AM-9:30 AM and Saturday to Sunday 7:30 AM-10:00 AM. The hotel features organic products and local delicacies like smoked fish and leipäjuusto cheese. Local ingredients include salad and cherry tomatoes from Himanka, smoked fish from Lake Pielinen, leipäjuusto cheese from Jalasjärvi, and organic honey from Tyrnävä. The hotel's kitchen staff bakes organic breakfast rolls. A buffet lunch is available from Monday to Friday 10:30 AM-1:30 PM, including a salad buffet, breads, spreads, three main courses, and dessert with coffee or tea, with a vegetarian dish offered daily. The bistro is open Monday to Saturday from 4:00 PM-10:30 PM, with last orders at 10 PM.

Leisure and Wellness

Hotel Lasaretti offers a fitness room and sauna. Guests can play the grand piano in the upstairs lounge. Tuira beach, across the Oulujoki river, is available for swimming in summer and winter. The sunny hotel terrace overlooks the historic yard area, with barbecue nights featuring grilled summer foods. The Upseerikerho building, within walking distance, has three renovated halls: Juhlasali, Perinnesali, and Naisten Kamari, suitable for Christmas parties and family events.

The railway and bus stations are approximately one kilometer away, and the airport is a 20-minute drive. Nearby attractions include Science Centre Tietomaa and Oulu Museum of Art. Paths lead to Hupisaari Islands, the open-air theatre, the Northern Ostrobothnia museum, and Oulu Market Square, which houses the Oulu Market Hall, Oulu City Theatre, and the library. Parking is available, with the first hour free.

Meetings & Event Services

Hotel Lasaretti provides venues for meetings, congresses, seminars, weddings, and parties. Facilities include Aurora Hall, seating up to 340 people, with video art, screens, adjustable lighting, and a sound system. Joki Hall offers views of the Oulujoki river and Ainola park. Kaisko Cabinet accommodates up to 20 guests. Linna and Rossi cabinets have natural light and balconies. Lohi cabinet seats 12 guests and has a toilet and balcony. Merikoski Hall features brick walls, high ceilings, and a fireplace. Pato Hall connects to Puisto Hall, seating 112 guests. Puisto Hall, in the main building, offers views and connects to Pato Hall for theatre, classroom, or long table seating arrangements.
