the hotel provided a clean room
i booked a mountain view room, it faced directly onto a car park and refuse trucks woke me at 4am with bottle smashing noise i was not expecting the noise during my holiday.

some issues needing attention
poor soundproofing insufficient service
my expectation for a five-star hotel wasnt met. sound proofing was not good. i heard all conversations from the adjacent room. one evening i returned to find the hotel manager's car was parked across three parking spots. housekeeping required three requests over four and a half hours.

some concerns surfaced.
helpful staff free parking great views poor soundproofing loud music sauna temperature
the staff seemed eager to assist. the hotel provided free parking. the room provided great views from the balcony.
i found that sound proofing was lacking. the restaurant had a birthday party, the music was too loud. the sauna wasn't hot, but the hammam was too hot.

a decent hotel experience
delicious breakfast spacious room super clean cleaning poor soundproofing unresponsive reception cold pool
the room was spacious and super clean. cleaning was super carefully done. breakfast à la carte was delicious (i liked the local cheese) and beautifully served. all the amenities were provided, including razors, shampoos, creams, and lotions.
the sound proofing between rooms was non-existent. i could follow the conversation of the couple next door. the reception didn't answer texts or calls. the pool wasn't warm, so it was hard to stay in the water.
