Lake View Lodge features mobile homes, suites, apartments and cottages. Mobile homes include private entrances, bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms with showers and hairdryers, and kitchens with stovetops, refrigerators, kitchenware, and ovens. Select mobile homes offer outdoor dining areas, coffee machines, seating areas, and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. Suites have bedrooms, bathrooms with bathtubs, seating areas, terraces, and kitchens. Leisure Activities
Guests at Lake View Lodge can relax with a cool drink after exploring Mono Lake, Bodie Ghost Town, Tuolumne Meadows, and Yosemite. The Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center is nearby. Guests can take the YARTS shuttle bus from Mammoth Lakes, June Lake and Lee Vining from June 15th to October 15th, and twice daily from July 1st to August 31st. There's a boardwalk trail below the Mono Lake County Park that allows access to the North Shore Tufa area and marsh. The Mono Lake Committee hosts one-hour weekend canoe tours at 8 am, 9:30 am and 11 am from mid-June through mid-September. Photography, bird watching, and spring skiing are available in the Eastern Sierras. The Mono Basin is home to millions of birds representing over 300 species. Guests can enjoy a 20-minute video that offers an overview of the Mono Basin's ecology, geology, and cultural history.
Location and Access
Lake View Lodge is in Lee Vining, at the junction of Highway 395 and State Highway 120. It's located at the eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park on State Route 120-Tioga Pass. Landmarks nearby include Ellery Lake Campground, Conway Summit, Ellery Lake Lookout, Lee Vining Canyon, Upside-Down House, Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve, Mono Mills Historic Site and Mono Lake. It is 50 km from Mammoth Yosemite.
