Rooms and Cottages

Lake Rabun Hotel offers rooms in the main hotel and cottages a mile away at Lake Rabun Fish Camp. The hotel includes 13 rooms, plus a separate 2-bedroom Innkeeper's Cottage. Fish Camp offers 5 cottages. Rooms include queen or king-sized beds, and private bathrooms. Each room includes a full breakfast served from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Coffee and tea are available outside each door for early risers. Some rooms have tree-top views, handcrafted wooden mirrors, mountain laurel sconces, and clothes racks. The Appalachia Room features a king-sized bed that can be separated into two twin beds. Fish Camp Cottages include a living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, one bath, and a private deck.

Dining Options

The North Georgia Mountain Lodge features menus with seasonal items and gourmet breakfasts in its restaurant. Guests enjoy dining in the rustic dining room and on the Locust Log and Tree Top decks. The seasonal menus accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free preferences. The restaurant is across the street from Lake Rabun.

Leisure and Activities

Guests can access the Tree Top Deck with views among the pines and hemlocks. A black locust log deck features a mountain laurel and rhododendron screen. Activities include fishing expeditions, fly fishing lessons, boat rentals, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, zip-lining, waterfall explorations, hiking, wine tasting tours, golf, and ATV tours. The Fish Camp Cottages have central native plant gardens, a stone fire pit, corn hole games, and a small pond. Lake Rabun Hotel is located in Rabun County, 100 km from Athens-Ben Epps. It is across from Historic Hall's Boat House Marina. The Fish Camp Cottages are located a little more than a mile from the hotel, near Lakemont Historic Art Village and Tallulah Gorge State Park.
