Italian Dining
La Taverna restaurant, situated within Hotel Lajadira, serves international and regional cuisine. The menu features Italian recipes and locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant offers Ampezzo cuisine, and the menus change daily. Appetizers include Mazara del Vallo prawn tartare and Trentino beef carpaccio. First course options range from saffron risotto with ossobuco marrow emulsion to handmade beetroot Casunziei. Main courses include duck breast with orange sauce and veal ossobuco in gremolada sauce. Dessert options include panna cotta and apple strudel. The staff can accommodate allergies and intolerances.

Lajadira & Spa Hotel is located just off the SS51 national road. It is 100 km from Bolzano. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the center of Cortina D'Ampezzo and the ski lifts. When travelling inside the hotel, animals must always be kept on a leash and muzzled or in a pet carrier (for cats).
