Fantastic Experience at a Converted Citadel

I found the hotel to have a good location between the train station and the city center, very convenient. On-site parking was a plus, especially as i was travelling with my dog. The beautiful double room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable.

During breakfast, the cheese choices were not plentiful.

the location was acceptable (it wasn't too far from the attractions).

I was disappointed to find there was no hand shower in the shower itself. this made washing my hair quite difficult and inconvenient. It reminded me of a basic amenity was missing. this detail really impacted my experience.

The reception staff were very friendly and most cute indeed, they really set a positive tone. my room was very big and the beds were very comfy. i appreciated the fridge and a nespresso machine. It added a touch of convenience to my stay.

the location was great and i found the staff helpful. they even provided a dog bed and treats for my dog. there was ample parking and bikes i could borrow, which i found useful. everything was really nice!

The breakfast buffet included many options, SUCH AS fresh pastries, fruit, and hot dishes. i saw staff frequently replenishing items. This ensured availability. the restaurant menu included local specialties, AND i could see that ingredients were very fresh.

Staff members were always available at the reception desk to assist with questions or requests. the employees were polite and helpful, providing prompt service. This. room service was delivered promptly and efficiently. Everything seemed well-organized.

The room was not properly heated. It was quite cold. i requested assistance, but the portable heater provided on the last day did little to improve the situation. tv channels were limited to french, offering no options for english-speaking guests, disappointing.
