Rooms and Cabins
Kvitfjell Hotel offers alpine cabins and apartments with views over Gudbrandsdalen and the ski slopes. The Alpine Apartments (Type C) are 35 square meters and include 4 beds. The Alpine Cabins (Type A) include views toward the alpine slopes and Gudbrandsdalen. Alpine Cabins (Type B) are 60 square meters and include 8 beds, three bedrooms, and a loft, plus a microwave, freezer, dishwasher, and balcony. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, wardrobe, and parquet or carpeted floors.
Onsite Dining
The hotel restaurant, Prepperiet, serves cuisine prepared with local ingredients. Vestsiden Deli offers groceries, fresh bread, cheeses, hams, and ready-made dinner dishes. Several small wooden houses offer different types of food. Gondolen Fjellbistro serves home-cooked food such as burgers and pasta, plus hot and cold drinks, coffee, and atmosphere. Other options include Tyrihans Skicafè, Pizzahuset, and Fjøset après-ski, and Koia which serves gourmet sausages.
Skiing and Activities
Kvitfjell is near Hafjell Bike Park and Hunderfossen. Kvitfjell offers 25 kilometers of piste and 9 ski lifts, including 3 chairlifts. Guests can access 600 km of cross-country trails. There is a Snowboard Park and Kvitfjellparken fun park. The KIDS area on Vestsiden features a kids lift and BBQ cabins. A platter lift, children's ski lift, the KIDS park, and the KIDS World Cup are available. Grønnparken, a simple park for kids, is in the kidsarea at Vestsiden. The Vestsiden Express chairlift and a gondola provide access to Varden.
Location and Access
Kvitfjell Hotel is located at Kvitfjellvegen 492, Fåvang, in Ringebu municipality, 60 km north of Lillehammer and 100 km from Fagernes Leirin Airport. It is near the national parks Rondane and Jotunheimen, Hunderfossen Family Park, and the rafting river Sjoa. The hotel is at the middle station, allowing ski-in/ski-out access.
