Dekeza Dhows provides sailing trips, snorkeling, and fishing excursions using traditional wooden dhows. Kayak trips into the mangroves are also available. Kite surfing is a new activity at Kipepeo, with favorable winds for the sport, though equipment rental is not available. Guests can also enjoy volleyball on the beach.

Kipepeo Beach & Village is located 15 km from Central Dar es Salaam and 25 km from Julius Nyerere International Airport. It is situated on the south beaches of Kigamboni. The hotel can be reached via the Kigamboni Bridge. The area behind Kipepeo features salt pans and mangroves, providing a habitat for birds and small wildlife. Nearby landmarks include Magogoni, 5 km away.
