Hotel Services
Housekeeping is provided daily between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Complimentary coffee and tea are available in the lobby. The hotel provides daily night security from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Front desk staff can assist with securing items left behind by guests. The hotel offers free off-street parking (one space per room). The hotel is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest; however, items (excluding perishables) are kept in a secure location for up to fourteen days.
Dining Options
Complimentary coffee and tea are available in the lobby daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with baked goods offered in season at the coffee station. Guests can enjoy crabs and other pungent items on the front or back porch where tables are available; trash cans, paper towels, and newspaper can be supplied by the front desk. Great restaurants are located within walking distance of the hotel.
Leisure Activities
Guests can relax in the common seating area or on the front porch with wicker furniture. Visitors can explore Assateague Island with sandy beaches, salt marshes, maritime forests and coastal bays, or they can enjoy Ocean City's Caroline Street Stage on the beach by the Boardwalk. The Ocean City Tourism Board organizes annual fireworks displays on the beach throughout the summer (June-August), as well as other family-friendly events. Guests can bring their picnic basket and beach chairs to Northside Park (125th St) for ice cream sundaes and live entertainment at Sundaes in the Park, a family concert series on Sunday evenings in July and August from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

King Charles Hotel is located on the Boardwalk, only a short stroll from the beach. Nearby landmarks include Baja's Amusements (2.5 km), Skimmer Island (1.5 km), Ripley's Believe It or Not (2 km), Jolly Roger at the Pier (2 km), Park Place Gallery (1 km), Ocean Bowl Skate Park (1 km), and Dog and Bitch Island (2 km). Guests can also watch the sunset over the Isle of Wight Bay.
