warm welcome prime location attentive staff delicious breakfast

From when i got there to leaving, i felt so welcome, it was great! the breakfast was just what i wanted. Eggs, bacon, and toast. the location is prime for getting around, i walked everywhere. the staff are very attentive and made sure i had everything i needed.

the entrance hall felt a little old, it could use a refresh.

small shower room poor soundproofing

the breakfast had a good selection of options.

the room was quite small, particularly the shower room. i could also hear the guests in the next room using the toilet which was not ideal. the location was a bit further from the town centre than i expected, requiring a bit of a walk.

Acceptable Room, Some Disappointments

dated carpets soundproofing issue

The location was close to the beach.

The entrance was old-fashioned. I was asked to pay in full before I even saw the room, a practice I found quite presumptuous. Carpets throughout the dining room, hall, stairs, and landing looked old. I could hear people in the next room using the toilet and brushing their teeth (soundproofing was a real issue).

attentive service seaside viewing many choices

I found little touches particularly appealing. The room included binoculars for seaside viewing. Breakfast featured many choices and attentive service.

The car park can feel a bit tight when the hotel is busy.
