Kamikochi is accessible by bus and taxi. Visitors should bring appropriate clothing and footwear due to temperature differences. No ATMs are available. Baggage can be stored at the Kamikochi Bus Terminal (tel: 0263-95-2034). The last bus leaves around 6 p.m. Shops are available in hotel lobbies. The park is open during select seasons, with the green sprouts of spring (May to June), flowers in summer (July to August), and fall leaves (October) as the most popular seasons.
