poor breakfast no air conditioning

the lack of air conditioning really bothered me. i mean, who wants to sweat while they're supposedly relaxing? also, the breakfast was so-so. the bread tasted like cardboard and the cheese selection was questionable.

the hotel included a cheese board, wine opener, and wine glasses. i used them on the patio. breakfast was great, and it even had vegetarian options. the room was very clean too. the staff offered rides to and from the train station which was very helpful.

the hotel is located on a hill, so it was a bit of a climb!

the breakfast had many options for a great start to the day. the staff was overtly friendly. the view from our room was the best of our travels in switzerland, perhaps.

the dinner menu is limited.

the room felt quite basic. its size was small and the furnishings lacked any real charm. i was disappointed there was no mini bar. also, communication with the staff was difficult since they didn't speak my language.
