Rooms at Jonker

Jonker Boutique Hotel has 16 air-conditioned rooms. The modern rooms feature flat-screen satellite TVs and tea/coffee-making facilities. Rooms include hardwood floors, antique-style modern furnishings, and headboards, from statement pieces in Family Rooms to intricate vine cutouts. The Grand Deluxe Family Rooms are the most spacious at 35 square meters, with separate sitting areas. All rooms provide complimentary Wi-Fi, thick towels, premium toiletries, and high thread count linens. In-room safes, mini-fridges, and electric kettles are standard. Ironing boards and baby cots are available upon request. Light-sleeping guests can request rooms at the back of the hotel. Guests may smoke behind the hotel at the open-air carpark.

Tropical Halal Dining

The halal Jonker Cafe features wooden beams and ceiling fans for a tropical feel. It serves a menu. The hotel does not offer free breakfasts with any of its rates.

International and domestic coaches often terminate at Melaka Sentral Bus Terminal, after which a taxi to Jonker Street and the hotel is needed.

Night Market

The Jonker Street Night Market is held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between 5 pm and 11 pm. It sells food, knick-knacks, and simple products. Busker performances are common. A karaoke competition is held at the Jonker Cultural Stage until 11 pm, located in front of Jonker Boutique Hotel. An access lane to the left of the Jonker Cultural Stage provides access to the carpark. Vehicle traffic is restricted from entering Jonker Walk at around 5 pm on night market days.
