Jonker Street is known officially as Lorong Hang Jebat, Harmony/Temple Street as Jalan Tokong, and Heeren Street as Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. Batu Berendam is 10 km away. International and domestic coaches often terminate at Melaka Sentral Bus Terminal, after which a taxi to Jonker Street and the hotel is needed.
Night Market
The Jonker Street Night Market is held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between 5 pm and 11 pm. It sells food, knick-knacks, and simple products. Busker performances are common. A karaoke competition is held at the Jonker Cultural Stage until 11 pm, located in front of Jonker Boutique Hotel. An access lane to the left of the Jonker Cultural Stage provides access to the carpark. Vehicle traffic is restricted from entering Jonker Walk at around 5 pm on night market days.
