peaceful retreat amidst nature
rural location eco style mosquito nets
This hotel sits in a beautiful rural location. it's off the beaten track and right on the edge of the paddy fields. i loved the rooms. They were very eco in style. it is worth noting you sleep under mosquito nets with ceiling fans, as there is no air conditioning. i found it fine. but some might be less keen!
My room was old and i found some ants and mosquitoes. It was not ideal.

the wel vidana room had fine views. i could see paddy fields and the punagala mountain range. the rooms offer a immersive experience. they cover 60 acres of natural beauty.

The setting here is wonderful. the hotel is situated in a quiet and serene area. It is perfect for relaxation. i enjoyed the rice fields and the peacocks walking nearby. the hotel is around half an hour from some sites.

The pool is fantastic. It is relaxing with an amazing view. each hut has mountain bikes available. I enjoyed a quick cycle. the hotel features organic paddy fields. This is a highlight of this agriculturally based hotel.

Wonderful Eco Retreat Experience
attentive staff comfortable bed large pool
The staff was attentive and helpful. My room, the Wel Vidana, Paddy Field View, had a nice view. It also had a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The pool was large at 25m and very clean, I found it very refreshing. I also enjoyed the half board option. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent with many choices.
I did notice a few ants in the room. They could benefit from more pest control.

The hotel offers a large, clean swimming pool that measures 25 meters. The hotel includes a restaurant. It serves both local and international cuisine. walking paths surround rice fields. These provide a tranquil environment.

The hotel grounds feature lush paddy fields. Peacocks and peahens roam freely on the hotel! The natural surroundings create a peaceful atmosphere. I wish I had more time to explore the area. It is very beautiful.

I appreciated the half board meal plan. Both breakfast and dinner offered excellent choices. I especially enjoyed the fresh, local ingredients. They were prepared with care. The service in the restaurant was efficient.

The general manager and junior staff were amazing . Every request was handled promptly. I was impressed by the attentiveness and kindness of all employees. This level of dedication enhanced the experience.
