great little hotel with nice features
friendly staffclean roomconvenient locationunsafe area
i found the staff really friendly and helpful. my room was clean with a good price (i had a great balcony too!). the location worked for me (it was near public transport).
the area felt a bit unsafe at night. it was not a major issue, but something to be aware of.

friendly receptionistdangerous neighborhood
The receptionist was very friendly. They let us check in early after cleaning a room (that other people just checked out from).
The neighborhood felt dangerous. I saw homeless or drugged people screaming at night (this was rather alarming). The entrance was uneven and hazardous.

the receptionist was helpful. i guess that's a plus.
The area felt unsafe at night. i wouldn't recommend walking alone. There was visible drug use nearby. also the room smelled strongly of cigarettes, it was quite unpleasant. i read similar reviews from other guests, so this seems to be a recurring issue. i requested a different room, but it wasn't much better.
