The Hotel Hohenhaus offers two restaurants: Hohenhaus Grill and La Vallée Verte. The Hohenhaus Grill features traditional dishes influenced by the region prepared with local products and products from the hotel's production. The menu changes daily based on product availability and is served on the sun terrace with valley views. Dishes include Hohenhäuser Wildessenz with venison ham and Ringgau sour cream, and kotelette of organic beef matured on the bone with potato gratin. La Vallée Verte serves cuisine combining regional products with products from Brittany. A menu featuring 11 courses is available. The Hohenhaus Grill has been awarded a green Michelin star.
Activities and Scenery
Guests can swim in the swimming pool and use the sauna. There is space reserved at the pond, at the water lily pond, or under the red beech trees for yoga. Guests can explore the forest, Hotel Hohenhaus has a tennis court and terrain for mountain biking. The 18-hole golf course of golf club Eisenach is in Wenigenlupnitz, a 20-minute drive away. Guests can also visit Germany's third-largest reservoir. Bees, wild cats, black storks, raccoons, wild boars, deer, foxes, and birds of prey are at home in the surrounding park, forest, and meadow landscape. The hotel provides access to walking and cycling.

Hotel Hohenhaus is located 5 kilometers from the A4 highway (Dresden to Frankfurt). From the north on the A7, take the A38 towards Nordhausen / Halle / Leipzig and follow it until the Friedland / Neu Eichenberg exit. The hotel is 85 km from Kassel-Calden. Nearby landmarks include Brandenfels, 2.5 km away. The small village church is in the park-like surroundings on the avenue to Gut Hohenhaus.
