The hotel offers a winter oasis. The entire building is heated using waste heat from electricity production. The property provides Grimselwelt vouchers redeemable at multiple locations. Children up to 3 years old stay free, with discounted rates for children aged 4-15.
“This alpine retreat, steeped in history dating back to the 14th century, is uniquely positioned near Grimsel Pass, where stunning views and stargazing opportunities abound. Its farm-to-table dining and robust wine cellar featuring local selections are highlights, while elegantly designed rooms blend 1930s inspiration with modern comfort. In my view, its blend of historical charm and exceptional alpine setting provides an unforgettable escape.”
