The Historic Plaza Hotel features 70 guest rooms, with 19 rooms overlooking Plaza Park. Standard rooms offer views of the town to the east and west, north towards the mountains, or interior views. Dining at Plaza
The Plaza Grill & Tavern serves American and New Mexican dishes, steak dinners, and desserts. The Plaza Sip & Savor coffee bar in the lobby offers coffee, tea, pastries, and cakes. Guests can sip on sangria. A rib-eye steak dinner with a glass of Ruidoso Red is a fine meal.
Leisure and Activities
The City Recreation Center, two miles from the Plaza, features an indoor pool, full gym, racquetball courts, and basketball courts. Day passes are available. The 9-hole Gene Torres Golf Course is five minutes from the Plaza. Guests can find Navajo rugs.
Location and Access
Located in historic old town Las Vegas overlooking Plaza Park, at the intersection of Plaza Street and South Pacific Street. The hotel is 100 km from Santa Fe Municipal Airport. Amtrak's Southwest Chief stops at the Castaneda Hotel, one mile from the Plaza Hotel. Local attractions include Montezuma Hot Springs (5 miles north), Montezuma Castle (UWC), and Highlands University (1.5 miles).

The Plaza Hotel has over 6000 square feet of meeting space. The Ilfeld Ballroom can accommodate 180 guests with tables and a buffet, or 100 with plated seating. The ballroom includes free Wi-Fi, catering, a dance floor, a projector, and lights. The hotel is pet-friendly for $10/day (two pets max). Free parking is available along the Plaza. There is free coffee and tea in the morning.
