Apartment Features

HG Jardín de Menorca has 144 apartment-style rooms spread over six blocks, each with two wings and between two and four floors. Apartments are spacious and bright with a living area with satellite TV. Each air-conditioned apartment includes a seating area, a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. A kitchenette with a refrigerator is available for cooking and storing food. Apartments feature a safe deposit box, heating, and a balcony.

Dining Options

The hotel includes an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and a piano bar. The restaurant serves buffet breakfasts and dinners, offering local and international cuisine. A varied buffet is available for breakfast with pre-cooked dishes, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, cold meats, cheeses, breads, and pastries, plus a live cooking station with freshly made eggs. Lunch is served from an a la carte menu at the poolside bar. There is a varied buffet for breakfast and dinner.

Leisure and Wellness

The centerpiece of the hotel is a large pool complex with three sections: a deep pool for swimming, a shallow splash pool for kids, and one of medium depth where water-based activities take place. The well-kept outdoor complex has 3 swimming pools, with separate children's pools, a poolside snack bar, and a grassy lounge area with sun loungers, parasols and beach towels. There is also a Wellness centre with a heated indoor pool, gym, jacuzzi, massage, sauna, Turkish bath, squash court and basketball court. Evening entertainment includes professional shows and activities organized by the animation team. The hotel has gardens composed of a lush array of flora that includes mature palms, giant cacti, banana plants, and other native and tropical vegetation. The hotel comprises a games room with Internet connection, a TV room, a children's play area and kids' club with a stage area as well as a bouncy castle.

Location and Access

HG Jardín de Menorca is situated close to the town centre of Son Bou and 200 m from links to the public transport network. It is located on a hillside on the edge of the San Jaime Mediterráneo development, a village of vacation rentals and villas on the south coast of Minorca. A wide variety of shopping facilities, restaurants and bars as well as the beach are 1.5 km from the hotel. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to Playa Son Bou, the island's longest beach, roughly every hour. The hotel is 25 km from Menorca. It is about a 25-minute drive to Minorca's capital, Mahón, and 40 minutes by car to Ciutadella. Landmarks nearby include Cova des Coloms (3.5 km), Playa Talis (3 km), and Platja de Son Bou (1.5 km).
