Located in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, the Hermitage Hotel is 55 kilometers from the main highway. The hotel is near the Hooker Valley Track, accessible via a 20-minute walk from the hotel front. It is situated in the world's largest Gold Status International Dark Sky Reserve.
