a reasonable visit

refurbished room friendly staff excellent location poor ventilation uncomfortable bed noticeable dust

The room was nicely decorated and recently refurbished. the staff were very friendly, i think that is important. the location was excellent. It was near the castle.

the room could use better ventilation because the window would not open fully. the bed wasn't very comfortable. cleaning could be better because i noticed some dust.

excellent food friendly staff quick service

the staff were helpful upon my arrival i had an evening meal in the restaurant the service was quick. i also found the food was excellent especially the fish and chips. breakfast was very good it catered to many tastes.

the room lacked some ventilation because the window was unable to be opened fully

An acceptable stay

missing remote inconsistent shower

The room was clean, which i guess is the bare minimum i expect.

The tv remote was missing. I asked for one at the reception, but no one ever brought it. The shower temperature was inconsistent. I alternated between freezing and scalding.

friendly staff excellent service tasty chips helpful waiter

The staff was friendly and helpful upon my arrival. i had an evening meal in the restaurant. The service and food were excellent. i recommend the fish and chips (it was tasty!). breakfast catered to every type. The waiter was also very friendly and helpful.

the room would benefit from improved ventilation because the window could not be opened completely. i noticed a faint musty smell.

Good Stay, Few Issues

clean room cute staff convenient location smelly pillow untidy premises missing instructions

The room was very clean and quite spacious. I found the staff very cute! The location is convenient. I thought the room was lovely.

A pillow case smelled of aftershave and the duvet cover had a horrible smell to it. The premises really need tidying up from the outside! I did not see any fire safety instructions in the room.
