Unique Nantucket Rooms
Greydon House, formerly a sea captain's home built in 1850, offers 20 rooms designed by Roman and Williams. The rooms include custom-designed beds with John Robshaw block-printed linens. Bathrooms feature Waterworks brass fixtures, Acqua di Parma bath products, and Portuguese hand-painted tiles with nautical scenes. Suites have separate living areas with antiques, including English sofas and Nordic paintings. Private guest houses are available with John Robshaw bedding and MALIN+GOETZ bath products. 52 Union, a three-bedroom home, features harbor views and a fully-equipped kitchen.
Venetian-Inspired Dining
Via Mare, the on-site restaurant, features Venetian small plate dining. The menu includes fresh seafood, such as snapper ceviche and poached Maine lobster, plus black Angus steak and roasted chicken. Options include dining in the dining room, the bar, the covered porch, or street-side seating. Michelin-starred chef Marcus Gleadow-Ware, formerly of Aureole in New York City, heads the kitchen. Ice, an Italian ice bar, serves alternatives to ice cream. Table No 1 offers wine and cheese.
