It also has a family seawater pool that operates from May to mid-September, two seawater children's pools, one outdoor quiet seawater pool, and the Elixir Fitness Club with a heated indoor pool. Changing cabins, showers, sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach towels are provided free of charge. The Elixir Fitness Club has a heated indoor pool, a steam bath, a sauna, and electronic cardio fitness equipment. Astir Egnatia is located in Alexandroupolis, near the Aegean Sea. It is a 20-minute walk from the Train Station and 10 km from Alexandroupolis Airport ''Democritus''. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center and near the Dadia Forest Reserve and the Evros Delta. The hotel is 1.7 km to the Train station/Harbour, 7km to Alexandroupolis Airport ''Democritus'' and 1km to the Bus Terminal. The bus stop is 300m from the property. By car, exit the airport to the East and continue onto Dimokratias Ave, then Makris and Leof. The hotel is on the right, before reaching the seaside.
