mixed feelings about this stay

poor breakfast

The heating stopped working during one night, not pleasant. the staff were rude when i raised my concerns about this. breakfast was poor and not even served in the restaurant. It was just left hanging on the bedroom door. i was very disappointed with this experience.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. I had a meal in the restaurant each evening and the food quality was good. The room was recently refurbished and everything was clean (the room smelled of fresh paint!).

The en-suite was small, and it didn't seem completely finished. The paper was peeling slightly, and it took a while for the water to heat up for the shower. I also didn't like that the wash basin was not in the bathroom itself but in the bedroom.

i loved how welcome the staff. the evening meal was excellent, and breakfast were really nice what i expected.. a real treat! the location is also excellent if you are doing the kirkpatrick c2c.

the hotel has parking available, ensuring leaving my vehicle was easy and secure. there is a bar and restaurant, so dining and drinks were very convenient. the hotel welcomes cyclists and provides indoor storage for bicycles.

staff greeted me very warmly upon arrival and were helpful. they even prepared a breakfast at 4 am and left it near the front door for me. staff assisted with check-in efficiently and addressed any questions i had promptly.

The room was clean and nicely decorated.

The breakfast service created some problems. I was told one thing about the serving time, but the landlady had different information. I felt rushed and unwelcome during breakfast as a result, and that affected my stay.
