Grande Denali Lodge By Aspen Hotels, Denali Park

The Grande Denali Lodge features guest rooms, each including dark hardwood furniture, cable television with the Alaska Channel, a telephone, a coffee/tea station, a private bath with a hairdryer, air conditioning, a microwave, a sleeper sofa, deck chairs and a table, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a refrigerator. The six guest cabins feature separate living rooms and bedrooms, microwaves, private decks, and amenities similar to the lodge rooms. Multilevel rooms have a lift, plus an ice machine and laundry facilities on the first level. Note: Extra beds are not permitted in some room types.

The Alpenglow Restaurant, off the lobby, serves New American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, focusing on fresh Alaskan seafood and all-natural meats combined with seasonal fruits and vegetables. It also serves dinner. If your taste leans in a different direction you may order tender, all-natural steaks, pasta, chicken, soups, salads, and sandwiches. Lighter fare, such as crudités, fruits and cheeses, and parfaits, are available for a quick snack. The Peak Espresso café proudly serves Alaska's Kaladi Brothers Coffee and a variety of specialty coffees and teas. Delicious pastries are also available. The Peak Spirits Lounge offers cocktails, wine, beer, appetizers, and views of the Alaska Mountain Range.

Guests can try fly-fishing for Arctic Grayling. Tours into Denali National Park, the Alaska Railroad, and river rafting are minutes from the Grande Denali Lodge. Narrated bus tours are available for 4-hour excursions or full-day adventures. Guests can join excursions in the Denali area. The grounds reflect the Alutiiq culture of the Kodiak Islands. The Peak Spirits Lounge provides a place to watch the midnight sun set over the Alaska Range.

The Grande Denali Lodge is on Sugarloaf Mountain near Denali National Park's entrance, 25 km from Healy River, at mile 238 on the Parks Highway. The Alaska Railroad's Denali Star Train provides daily service between Anchorage and Fairbanks, and a shuttle is available to and from the train station. Nearby landmarks include Husky Homestead (1.5 km), Hines Creek (2 km), Horseshoe Lake Trail (1 km), and the Wilderness Access Center (1 km).

The main lodge houses the reception area, an excursion/tour booking desk, the Alpenglow Restaurant, Peak Spirits Lounge, and Peak Espresso coffee bar. For groups and businesses, the Grande Denali Lodge offers a solution for meetings and corporate retreats. The Denali Lodge has an ice machine and laundry facilities on the first level. A quality, insulated lunch bag with additional snacks is available.
