“Grand Hotel Plovdiv strikes me as a solid choice, particularly for business travelers needing its extensive conference facilities. While some rooms show their age, the location near the Old Town and the free parking are definite pluses. I think the in-house casino and varied dining add to its appeal as a full-service option, even if the spa comes at an extra cost.”

the fitness center was closed, this was disappointing because i specifically booked this hotel expecting to use the gym. the front desk showed me a notice buried in the listing but it should have been more prominent. signs indicated i needed to pay to use the pool also.
