Select units include an indoor or outdoor spa, HDTV with HBO & Golf Channel, efficiency kitchen, utensils, cookware, microwave, toaster, 2 burner stovetop, full-size refrigerator, dining table, and alarm clock. Some units include a washer and dryer. Many in-whirl Casitas feature views of Dinosaur Mountain, city views, the golf course, or the desert landscape. Casitas offer an indoor fireplace.
Dining and Patio
The expansive patio features menu selections from Kokopelli's and The Bar & Grill, amazing views, and fire pits. A great place to meet for a bite to eat and a drink before or after a round of golf or other planned activities.
Events and Functions
Gold Canyon Golf Resort & Spa provides views and services for events. An 1100 sq ft outdoor event space overlooks the valley and includes a built-in bar and several crushed glass fire pits with seating for up to 120 guests. A 1400 sq ft outdoor event space is located within the Towne Hall Square complex and features a grassy area. Also available is a 1300 sq ft event space just off the resort's main lobby with ambient lighting and views, accommodating up to 150 guests. A 700 sq ft event space, located off Kokopelli Restaurant's dining area, provides panoramic desert, sunset, and mountain views, seating up to 40 guests. A 4100 sq ft event space within the Towne Hall Square complex includes a 20x20 built-in sound system and dance floor with seating for up to 300 guests. The Kachina Room, an 800 sq ft space on the West Wing Lower Level in the Resort's Main Building, seats up to 50 guests. Various elevation levels of entertainment space overlook the golf course and desert landscape, with seating for up to 150 guests.
Golf and Academy
The Golf Academy at Gold Canyon is at the base of the Superstition Mountains. The Golf Shop has been awarded the Association of Golf Merchandiser's Platinum Award and the GEM Award by the Arizona Women's Golf Association. The shop features men's and women's golf and sports apparel including Johnnie Oh, Footjoy, Adidas, Under Armour, Travis Mathews, San Soleil, and EP Pro. The professional teaching staff offers programs for all ages and skill levels. The Dinosaur Mountain course features a championship layout. The full day school covers the same topics as the half day school with the addition of 9 holes of golf with your instructor in the afternoon. The ultimate learning experience allows you to take your 'range game' to the golf course.
Spa and Salon
The Spa at Gold Canyon offers professional services within a salon setting. Services include haircut and style, colors, manicures and pedicures, makeup application, and special event styling. The spa offers a range of treatments. The Clarifying Detox Body Wrap (90 min, $250) uses therapeutic salts from the Dead Sea and organic black mud. The Glow Body Scrub (30 min, $75) uses a Sea Salt formula containing Dead Sea Salts infused in Jojoba, Avocado, Peach, and Sunflower Oils. The Inner Peace Hydration Wrap (75 min, $185) uses a body luxe moisture-binding emollient. Massages include Gold Canyon Massage (60 min, $140; 90 min, $180) and Stress Relief Massage (30 min, $115; 60 min, $150; 90 min, $200). Skin Treatments include Skin Boost (30 min, $110) and Tranquility Stress Relief (60 min, $140; 90 min, $190). The Spa also provides services as gel manicure ($50), Gold Canyon Pedicure ($60), and top tier detox pedicure.
