“Four Stars Hotel's Sussex Gardens location places you conveniently near a bus stop and within walking distance of Hyde Park. While some rooms offer basic amenities like a TV and fan, the experience seems inconsistent. In my opinion, for a short stay where location trumps comfort, this hotel could suffice, but be prepared for a no-frills experience.”

helpful staff perfect tv great location
The location worked really well! It was easy to walk to Paddington Station, and there were many restaurants nearby. I found the staff to be helpful, especially when I needed directions. My Double Room Private Bathroom was clean. It had a TV that worked perfectly.
The shower water pressure was a bit weak.

friendly staff good transport safe location dangerous stairs narrow stairs corroded showerhead
the staff remembered me each time i came and went. the location had good transport links and shops nearby. it reminded me of a safe location and fairly quiet area.
The stairs going to my room were dangerous. The carpet was pulling away. the stairs also felt particularly narrow. the shower head was very old. there was no hot water in the taps in the afternoon or evening.
