Finolhu offers a selection of villas, each with distinct features. The private villa features a freshwater 8m pool, a large outdoor terrace, separate indoor and outdoor dining areas, 2 master bedrooms, flat-screen TVs, a private wine mini bar, and separate bathrooms with a bathtub, and both indoor and outdoor showers. The overwater lagoon view villa provides direct ocean access, a flat-screen TV, minibar, an outdoor sundeck with loungers, and outdoor showers. Bathrooms include an ocean view bathtub overlooking Finolhu lagoon and the 1.8 km long sandbank. The beach villa is set within a tropical garden, offering private beach access to the Finolhu lagoon, a spacious outdoor dining terrace with sun loungers, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, and both indoor and outdoor showers. All villas have ironing facilities, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, sitting area, terrace, dressing area, dining table, patio, garden furniture, free toiletries, cookware/kitchen utensils, electric kettle, AM/FM alarm clock, and flat-screen TV.
Dining Experiences
Guests can enjoy meals at any of the 4 onsite restaurants, with international cuisine and ocean views. Options include toes-in-the-sand dining at Crab Shack, located along Finolhu's sandbank, or Asian cuisine at Kanusan. The Fish & Crab Shack restaurant is located at the end of the sandbank. The 1 Oak Beach Club offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with possible dolphin sightings. Daily breakfast is available at Beach Kitchen (freshly squeezed juices and smoothies are charged separately). There are also two bars. The property also offers international favorites anytime of the day at Baa Baa Beach Club.
Leisure and Wellness
Finolhu provides immersive experiences at the dive center, including snorkeling, diving, fishing, and cruising. There is an indoor and outdoor gym, with options for yoga or meditation at the outdoor Yoga Pavilion or directly on the beach. The spa offers holistic programmes and treatments delivered in pastel huts. The Oceaneers Club provides cooking classes, sports, and water activities for children.
Location and Transfers
Finolhu is 5 km from Dhaalu Atoll. Transportation to the property is a 30-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport or a 20-minute flight to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport in Baa Atoll, followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride. Nearby landmarks include Hithaadhoo (3 km), Kanifushi (0.3 km), and Medhufinolhu (1 km). If your flight departs from Male before 9:00 am you can arrange a transfer.
Services Provided
Upon arrival, guests are assisted with check-in for transfers to Finolhu by seaplane or domestic flight. Honeymoon benefits include sparkling wine, bath setup, cake, dinner, a cocktail making class, and a sunset cruise around Baa Atoll (once during the stay).
