solid stay at landmark hotel

bay view efficient staff convenient location
my room had a good view. i liked the signature king room bay view. it was spacious enough for a longer stay. the beds were very comfortable. i also appreciated the quick check-in process. the staff seemed efficient. i also found the location convenient. i could easily access many attractions.
i noticed some wear and tear in the bathroom. the shower head needed an upgrade. the water pressure was a little weak. it wasn't a major issue, but it was noticeable. the grout needed cleaning too.
Dining
8/10
i had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. the restaurant offered a buffet option. it had standard breakfast fare such as eggs, bacon, and pastries. service was prompt and courteous with coffee refills.
Rooms
9/10
the signature king room included a king-sized bed. it had a small seating area with a sofa. the room also featured a work desk. there was a large television with cable channels.

Lovely Stay with Views!

warm welcome great tips really good views
Cameron gave us such a warm welcome during check-in. He offered great tips regarding the Tonga Room (I really wanted to go there). I enjoyed the recycling bins throughout the hotel. The Fremont Suite provided really good views of the Golden Gate Bridge. There was also a lot of space, so I could relax.
The balcony had dirty window ledges, disappointing. I also noticed soiled and dusty spots that should have been better maintained. It was a bit of a distraction from the otherwise lovely experience. A deep cleaning could do wonders.
Location
9/10
The hotel is situated away from crowded areas, yet it remains close to shops and local ambiance. It is a very convenient spot to access many city attractions. I found it easy to walk to nearby points of interest.
Dining
10/10
I ate at the Tonga restaurant two nights. The staff was very attentive and helpful during my dining experiences. I liked the variety of options available on the menu (the seafood risotto was a highlight!).

classic stay with bay views

unique architecture friendly valet thoughtful amenity
the hotel offered unique architecture with a classic atmosphere. valet service was both friendly and accommodating upon my arrival. i received assorted pastries as a birthday amenity which was a thoughtful gesture.
the fitness center had limited hours of operation . it was only accessible saturday and sunday from 7 am to 4 pm. i found this inconvenient given the hotel's reputation.
Rooms
9/10
the signature king room offered a great bay view. clean linens and a comfortable bed helped promote rest and relaxation during the visit the room included standard amenities.
Dining

breakfast at the restaurant had really good service. one could select from a range of options including eggs benedict and pancakes. the cirque coffee house closed relatively early each day offering limited options after its closure.
