Team, led by chef Jean-Marie Broquard and host Sebastian Bumann, offers not only cheese fondue, but also hearty meat dishes with pasta, served in the fondue pan. Mushrooms, seasonings, truffles, and foie gras help add secret flavors for a unique fondue experience. The hotel offers simple meals typical of the region. The selection of wines and handpicked spirits provide an array of distinctive tastes and beverage experiences.
Wellness and Activities
The wellness area is located in the basement between the two buildings. The modern SPA area includes a hot tub, 2 saunas, 2 steam baths, an infrared cabin, and a relaxation area. Free access to the spa area is available between 3pm and 7pm daily. Additional amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access and ski storage. Guests can jump on the free ski shuttle for a day on the slopes before returning to Europa Annex.
Location and Access
The Sporthotel Europa in Saas-Fee is located just above the main street and offers a view over the glacier and mountains. It is located 5 minutes from the car park and 5 minutes from the bus station. From the north, visitors travelling through Switzerland can benefit from a one-hour reduced travel time with the opening of the Lötschberg base tunnel. Visitors drive via Berne through the Lötschberg Tunnel. Visitors travelling by train change to the post bus with the direct destination 'Saas-Fee'. Hotel Europa Guest House is a 40-minute ride from Sankt Niklaus and 75 km from Sion.
