From here, Hoan Kiem Lake is a 5-minute walk. The Quang Trung bus stop is also a 5-minute walk, offering bus routes to Noi Bai International Airport. Landmarks nearby include Hanoi Night Market (0.5 km), Saint Joseph Cathedral (0.5 km), Temple Of Literature (1 km), Flag Tower of Hanoi (1 km), Vietnam National Museum of History (2 km), Temple of the Jade Mountain (0.5 km), Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (3 km), Bach Ma Temple (1.5 km), and Hoa Lo Prison (0.5 km).
Transportation Options
Transfer options between the airport and Especen Hotel are available, but public taxis are not recommended due to potential scams. A bus to Lý Thường Kiệt street (near Meliá Hotel) requires a 12-minute walk to the hotel. The bus to Vietnam Airlines head office at No. 1 Quang Trung street, requires a 7-minute walk to Especen Hotel, but is not recommended at night. The hotel can arrange a private car; provide the airline, flight number, and origin for airport pickup.
Tours
The hotel can arrange tours. Options include a Ha Long Bay tour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with nearly 2000 islands, and a trip to Cat Ba Island. Day trips include Hoa Lu and Tam Coc, known as Ha Long Bay on land, and Perfume Pagoda, featuring pagodas built inside grottoes. Cultural tours are available to handicraft villages and the Ethnology Museum, with an optional cyclo tour around the old town. Important Information
Especen Hotel is one of the first mini hotels built since the 1990s. Note that there is a beauty saloon instead at the lobby and the reception desk is at the next door, just ten steps walk distant. Other addresses with name Especen are FAKE. Be careful of some "street boys " who always have the hotel cards to show you at a bus stop.
