Rooms at Ellan Vannin
The Ellan Vannin Hotel has 26 en suite bedrooms on 4 floors, accessible by stairs. Rooms feature a large flat-screen LCD TV connected for entertainment, and Egyptian cotton sheets. Guests will sleep soundly on comfortable beds fitted with luxury toppers, each room provides complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. All rooms have a mixture of seating with sofas and soft chairs, with-and-without arms together with low level coffee tables. Each offers a modern bathroom with fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms have a sea view. The sea view suite is one of the finest rooms in the hotel. Rooms offer the choice of a large 6' super king bed or twin beds. The shower has a separate removable, adjustable head with thermostatically controlled settings in a cubicle with a 27 inches sliding door entry gap. Lower floor rooms have a flat-screen TV, desk, and telephone.
Manx Culinary Experience
Breakfast is a self-service buffet for starters and table service for hot items and drinks. It is a Manx affair, featuring free-range eggs from Finanns farm in Patrick. The chickens roam free in the open fields of this Western farm. Bacon and sausage are from Radcliffes in Castletown, a Manx family butcher. Milk is supplied by a small cooperative of family-owned Manx dairy farms. A full English breakfast and a full vegetarian breakfast are available. Manx Kippers with a poached egg or an omelette with your choice of filling are available on request. The breakfast buffet is £14.95 per person.
Percy's Bar
Percy's Bar is located in the Ellan Vannin Hotel and offers a space to relax. It is open for a night cap before bed. Monthly quiz nights and open mic nights are held. Board games are available. Every first Monday of the month, there is an all-you-can-eat chicken wing night with homemade hot sauces.
Location & Transport
The Ellan Vannin Hotel Isle of Man is centrally located on Douglas' historic Loch Promenade, facing the Tower of Refuge. Landmarks nearby include Onchan Raceway Stockcar Racing (2.5 km), Manx Electric Railway (1 km), Manx Museum (0.5 km), National Sports Centre (1.5 km), Douglas Harbour (0.5 km), Douglas Head (1 km) and Douglas Bay (1 km). The Ellan Vannin can be found in the middle of the 2nd block opposite the fountain in the sunken garden. A popular Italian restaurant called Papparazzi is close by. The bus stops on Loch Promenade or at Douglas Bus station, a 10-minute walk along paved walkways. A regular bus service takes you into the main Douglas bus station for connections to other destinations. The bus from the airport leaves every 20 minutes. Access to the Hotel is gained from a flagged pavement up 6 steps, each 6.5 inches high and 78 inches wide. These two streets are dissected by a Pelican crossing. Guests may prefer the convenience of their own reserved parking space available at any time.

The Guest lounge is situated on the ground floor with level entry from the main entrance area. All public areas are well lit using a combination of ceiling and floor standing lamps. All personal details relating to subscriptions are held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
