charming stay
lovely decorcharming gentleman
the room feature lovely decor and comfortable new chairs. every staff member i met at the reception was very helpful and kind. The gentleman who showed me to our room was charming.

the hotel has a beautiful dining area. the hotel is centrally located but set back from the road. many shops are nearby, including 'sunshine' for shawls, it is a five minute walk from the indian museum.

the food taste good. a great and varied breakfast is available. i ate a lot of good food in the garden area. the restaurant on the premises can also be recommend.

the room allocated to me was very quiet. i appreciated the fridge and kettle within my room. the bed was comfortable. the hotel's recent acquisition of a liquor license allowed me to enjoy a decent selection of drinks.
the stairs require repainting and the carpet needs replacement as it appears quite tattered. the areas need better upkeep

the breakfast was great i found many attentive staff members at the reception. the gentleman who showed me to my room was charming. the room decor was lovely, and i liked the new chairs.

Charming Hotel with Colonial History

This hotel has many attractive public areas. These uncrowded spaces compensate for room shortcomings (this was a full hotel, too). The breakfast was great. I particularly enjoyed the choices available.
The shower had low water pressure and was located in the bathtub. This made it easy to get water everywhere. There was only cold water at the sink.

The hotel is in the city center. It is a short distance to a lively market with many things. There are several restaurants in the other direction, within walking distance of about 500-800 meters.
