The room had a comfortable bed, I found it perfect after long days exploring. Breakfast offered good choices of pastries and fresh fruit. The hotel provided private parking. It was helpful since nearby public parking fills up quickly.
The outside music played late into the night! and it was rather loud with limited soundproofing in the room.

the location was excellent, so close to everything! the staff were very cute.
our room was small and quite dark. there was no wash basin in the separate toilet so i had to use the bathroom to wash my hands! the air conditioning unit in the room was not clean.

The hotel location is superb with convenient access to the city walls. Secure parking was available, and I found the outdoor seating area very inviting. The hotel welcomes dogs, a definite plus for pet owners.

torn curtain damp odor
the room was nice , i will grant them that , but it was starting to show its age , wasn't it ? a torn curtain and faded wallpaper suggested a need for some tlc. the bathroom , configured as a wet room , naturally carried a bit of a damp odor. an air purifier was in the room , but its scent was , let's say , less than appealing , so i promptly unplugged it.

The hotel had a beautiful garden that was maintained very well. the staff were friendly and helpful, and their private parking was a big plus for me. i enjoyed the breakfast. It was good. the two resident dogs were just adorable!
the pool area did need a more thorough daily cleaning, especially concerning bird droppings on the furniture.
